Time can’t be frozen but moments can be captured.

Andy Warhol once said

The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do.”

so true are his lines. Every moment becomes a memory and when its the best moment everyone at some point feels wish they could freeze time . We cannot freeze time in real but we can freeze those moments by capturing them in the form of photos and videos and recalling good memories feel refreshed again.

The above photograph touched souls of around 5-6 lakh Maharashtrians as it took them to there childhood days. In olden times the houses Maharashtra were called as Wada, they were made from stone, wood, and many organic materials having beautiful carvings on it.

The costume of a girl in green silk woven in jari(golden thread ) is called parkar n polka it was the traditional outfit for small girls.

She is holding needle and thread in hands and weaving jasmine flowers together. Small flowers woven together is called as Gajra in Maharashtra. Women usually wear it in their hair. even today the love for gajra has not gone tough it is not worn every day these days. stitching, weaving was the basic thing taught to all the girls since childhood.

Right in front the girl are small utensils .children play a game called Bhatukali. It is a game where all children come together and play different characters like real family members and cook food and in middle, he has placed Tulsi Vrindavana which is considered as threshold point between earth and heaven. Tulsi is a sacred plant worshipped in almost every house of India .and the smoke of incense stick around the plant which can never go unnoticed. This picture depicts morning ambiance, lifestyle, social and cultural beliefs in one frame.

This photograph is clicked by 21 years old photographer, and engineering student Yogesh Katkamvar who resides in Pandharpur the photo became viral overnight after uploading on social media left Yogesh confused, stunned when he suddenly started receiving phone calls and appreciation.

????????????. ग्रेट वर्क done by u people.

  2. A motivating discussion is worth comment. I do think that you need to publish more about this issue, it
may not be a taboo matter but generally people do not speak about such subjects.

    To the next! Kind regards!!
